Zeal Hotel - Exeter

RED Construction has appointed YGS EC as the Landscape Architect for their exciting new project for Zeal Hotels. With sustainability at the core of the hotel's ethos, we were thrilled to be part of this venture, designing both the soft and hard landscapes surrounding the newly built property. Our goal was to create an environment that not only complements the hotel's modern design but also enhances its eco-friendly approach.

In our landscape design, we’ve incorporated a variety of elements that promote sustainability and year-round visual interest. Large ornamental planting areas will add vibrant splashes of color and texture throughout the seasons, while rain gardens are strategically placed to capture surface water runoff. Additionally, a Sustainable Drainage System (SuDs) will be integrated into the hotel’s car park area, featuring an island of trees that helps manage stormwater, creating both a functional and aesthetically pleasing space.
