Mercure Hotel - Paignton

YGS EC took on a project that already had an initial landscape design, and our role as landscape architects was to refine and value-engineer the design to meet the client's budget, then manage the process through to installation and completion. We carefully reviewed and revised both the soft and hard landscape elements, producing updated plans and detailed construction drawings to guide the main contractor in bringing the vision to life.

These images, captured shortly after completion, showcase a beautiful blend of textures and colours for the new Mercure Hotel in Paignton. The soft, low-level lighting along the entrance ramps and steps provides a warm welcome (with the help from IOTA to make this a reality), guiding guests seamlessly into the hotel lobby and enhancing the overall atmosphere of the space.
